Building on Bitcoin: Inside the First Stacks Hacker House

Our first ever Stacks Hacker House kicked off at DevConnect in Buenos Aires. The lesson was clear: give talented builders the right environment, the right tools, and great Argentine food…they ship. This was a full on build week. We started with hands on workshops covering Clarity, sBTC, Chainhooks, Hiro APIs, and AI-powered coding at the Stacks Meat & Greet. By midweek, the house flipped into deep focus mode — heads down, laptops open, shipping in real time. Immunefi and WalletConnect stopped by for security and integration sessions. A 30-minute marketing workshop somehow turned into a two-hour deep dive on how to get your first real users. Everything led up to Demo Day at the Bitcoin Builders Conference. Just five days after moving in, 11 teams walked on stage with live projects built in Clarity. It felt like watching the first spark of something much bigger.
